The All-Star Meet is quickly approaching. Parents of All-Stars...PLEASE READ!

We will not have practice on Friday morning. All swimmers should rest on the day of the meet.

Date: Friday, July 8, 2022

Location: Rock Hill Aquatic Center, 325 Rawlinson Rd. Rock Hill, SC 29732

**Please note: this meet takes approximately 2 hours and runs 7 lanes of swimmers.

Time: Arrival: 4:45 PM - Warm-Ups: 5:15 PM (Warm Up Pool) - Meet Starts: 6:00 PM

**Every swimmer should wear a black Mountainbrook swim cap, their team suit and team t-shirt. If your child doesn't have a cap, Jen Ruiz will have extras at the meet. If you have misplaced your team shirt, let us know!!!

Heat Sheets: Heat Sheets should be sent prior to the meet. Right now, we are unsure when we will receive them. There will be a limited number of heat sheets sold at the meet. You will find the document with your swimmer's entries by last name attached below. If you see ALT by the event, that means they are an alternate for that individual event. If you see a number greater than 4 beside their relay, that means they are an alternate for that relay event. (Medley Relay order is 1. Back, 2. Breast 3. Fly 4. Free and Free Relay is listed in order 1 through 4)

PARKING for families and swimmers at Rock Hill Aquatics.

****Please follow all parking directions or you will risk being towed.****

There will be parking attendants to direct traffic.

Do NOT park in the lot designated for coaches and officials. It will be roped off and parking attendants positioned there.

You MAY park at the top grass lot. Again, a parking attendant will be present to help direct at that lot for the most efficient parking. Please do not block others and follow the attendant.

You MAY park at the elementary school next to the aquatic center. You MAY park on ONE side of the road heading out from the elementary school.

You may NOT park on the grass, in no parking zones (clearly marked), or in the coaches/staff/officials lot or you will be towed.

Do NOT park on Rawlinson Rd in front of the Y. You will be towed.

Please pay attention to designated parking areas. This will ensure you still have a car to come back to after the meet. Thank you.

VOLUNTEERS

******All Volunteers + On Deck Team Parents need to sign in at the GCSL table in the hospitality room by 5:00 PM. Once you check in, you will receive a lanyard, these must be turned in before leaving.******

Refreshment Runners need to check in when they arrive and will be given a timeline.

Timers/head timers/runners meeting @ 5:45 PM by lane 1 at start end.

Ribbon Sorters should check in when they arrive, but do not need to begin sticking labels until after the conclusion of the Backstroke events.

Clerk of Course helpers report to Clerk of Course, behind lane 10 on the side opposite the starting blocks @ 5:45 PM.

Seating: Parents/Family of swimmers will sit in the bleacher section overlooking the competition pool. The front of this area is glass and will be kept clear of people so viewing is not obstructed. Parents may bring chairs outside the facility; however, no direct view is available from outside. NO chairs or stadium seats are allowed in the bleacher section.

Concessions: Food/Drink/All Star T-shirts/Swimsuits and gear will be available for purchase. Come hungry!!! There will be food trucks in the front at all sessions, snow cones, lunch and dinner trucks, etc. There will be a cash only concessions table in the lobby. Absolutely no glass containers of any kind are allowed. Each team must clean up after themselves.

Clerk of Course:

  • All 8 & Under and 9-10 swimmers will report to the Clerk of Course before proceeding to the blocks.
  • 11 & Over swimmers should report to the area behind the blocks directly for their event.

Medals: Awarded to 1st -3rd place and ribbons awarded to 4th-8th place. These will not be given out at the meet!
