OUR FINAL MEET - AWAY VS SPRINGFIELD & PROVIDENCE DOWNS SOUTH

PLEASE DECLARE YOUR CHILD AS ATTENDING/NOT ATTENDING - DEADLINE IS TOMORROW, THURSDAY JUNE 17 @ 6:00PM

Please read the information below from Springfield:

SFGW warm-up at 5:15 pm, MTB warm-up at 5:30 pm; PDS warm-up at 5:45 pm; meet starts at 6:00 pm. We ask all spectators and swimmers to bring their own chair as we clear our decks of existing pool furniture.

Our address is 420 Horton Grove Road, Fort Mill, SC 29715. When you arrive, there will be limited parking in the lot as it is pretty small. We have parking available along the street and we ask that cars try to stay off of the grass. Your swimmer bullpen area will be directly across the pool on the far side of the pool deck. This is the shady side in order to provide your swimmers and parents with as much shade as possible. We usually have a water jug station but because of Covid, we aren’t using it. We ask that swimmers bring lots of water. We will also have water bottles for sale in our concession area. Again, we ask all spectators and swimmers to bring their own chair as we clear our decks of existing pool furniture.

We will have two food trucks: Romans All Star Cafe and Abbots Frozen Custard. The link foodtruck.pub will allow your families to pre-order from Romans All Star Cafe. They just need to make sure they type in the specific date, June 21st and time that the'll want to get the order. They will also have the option to stand in line and order. Our concession stand will only sell bottled water and Gatorade; they may also include small packaged snacks/candy.

National Anthem: Springfield would like to honor those who have served or are currently serving in the US Armed Forces. They would like one of our swimmers to hold the flag in their honor. If you have a family member who is serving or has served and your child will be swimming in the meet, please let us know. They only need one swimmer from each team, so we will accept the first person to respond.

SWIM TEAM BANQUETRSVP here for the Swim Team Banquet on Thursday, June 24. If you are using the app, you have to RSVP from the website, under the swim meet & events tab. All team members will receive a medal.

We will have Midwood BBQ to cater the event. The cost per family is $25. We have some fun games planned!! More details to come next week.

Please respond as attending/not attending by Monday, June 21.
