There is a chance of rain and thunderstorms today, so please make sure you have downloaded the Swimtopia app to receive team push notifications regarding cancellations. We will also post cancellations to the website but for faster, up to the minute reminders, the app is the best way to receive this information.

We do swim in the rain! However, we will not swim if there is thunder or lightening. 
The weather is predicted to be rather chilly this week. If the water is unbearable or if it's raining, Coach Alyssa has planned "dry land" training and activities.  Please bring: swim suit, goggles, towel, swim cap (recommended), water bottle and warm cloth
ing! For dry land activities during rain, we are suggesting children wear a mask
because they will be huddled under the shelter.

We understand some children still have other activites going on. If your child cannot make practice(s) this week, it's ok. Just send Coach Alyssa a quick email at [email protected].

Today is also the deadline for ordering suits. After today, if a swimmer needs a suit and it is not in stock, the parent will have to pay a $10 Special Order fee to get the suit from the manufacturer. Carolina Swim Shop will do their best to get the suit in time for 
the 1st meet but inventories and shipping times can sometimes be an issue during the busy season. 

**Team suits are not required but encouraged. We will have a new suit for the 2022 season. See attached flyer for more details:
